Meet the founder
Our founder, Huong, was born in Vietnam, grew up in Germany and now resides in Texas.
My Story
As a frequent traveler, I often sat in the middle between my kids, and I struggled to find restful sleep as they would end up leaning on my shoulder or lap. Additionally, I found it hard to fall asleep during the long flights without a comfortable surface to lean on.
I tried using a regular neck pillow, but it didn't give me much relief. I searched online for a solution but couldn't find anything that met my needs. Feeling frustrated, I decided to take matters into my own hands and create something myself - and that's how the Sloop Pillow was born.
Throughout the years, I kept improving it to make a product that I truly loved. As a fashion designer and skilled seamstress, I personally made the final version of the Sloop Pillow. I tested it extensively during different trips and shared it with friends and family, who all fell in love with its functionality.
